Fiberglass stakes, poles and greenhouse profiles

Agriculture buys pultruded fiberglass in volume: solid rods as plant and tree stakes, vineyard and orchard support, flexible flag rods and marker stakes; square tubes and flat strips as greenhouse framing and bench supports. These are simple products ordered by diameter, length and finish, but the volumes and the packaging make the order details matter. This page lists the product families and what a distributor or grower specifies.

Fiberglass stakes, poles and greenhouse profiles in brief

Agricultural fiberglass products are pultruded solid rods (plant stakes, tree stakes, vineyard rods, marker and snow stakes, flag rods) and square tubes or flat strips (greenhouse framing, bench rails, nursery supports). Buyers specify the diameter or section, length, end finish (pointed, capped), color and UV protection, the quantity and the packaging per bundle or pallet. pultrx quotes these products from the Henan Zhongsheng factory by size and quantity.

Order requirements

What to specify

Put these items on the RFQ so the factory quotes the same product the project drawing describes.

  1. 01Diameter or section and the length, with the quantity per size.
  2. 02End finish: pointed, chamfered, capped, or cut square; cap color and material if supplied.
  3. 03Color and UV protection (pigmented resin, surface veil) for outdoor life.
  4. 04Flexibility requirement for flag and snow rods, or stiffness for tree stakes.
  5. 05Printing or labeling on marker stakes.
  6. 06Packaging: pieces per bundle, bundles per pallet, pallet dimensions for container loading.
  7. 07Destination port and whether the shipment is a full container.

Standards and documents

Documents buyers cite

Named so the RFQ can refer to them. Citing a standard does not establish that a quoted product conforms to it; conformity, tests and evidence are agreed in the quotation.

Distributor specification
Garden and agricultural stakes are usually ordered to the distributor's own size list and packaging. Send it with the RFQ.

Stakes and support rods

Solid pultruded rods from about 4 mm to 25 mm diameter serve as plant stakes, tomato and vine supports, tree stakes and orchard trellis posts. They do not rot, do not rust, do not leach treatment chemicals into soil and can be reused for many seasons. Pointed ends are cut at the factory; plastic caps protect the cut end and give a color code.

Marker, snow and flag stakes

Driveway markers and snow stakes are flexible solid rods or small square tubes in high-visibility colors, sometimes with reflective bands or printed text. Flag rods need a defined flex, which depends on diameter and fiber content; state the use so the quoted rod bends as intended.

Greenhouse and nursery framing

Square tubes, round tubes and flat strips build bench frames, hoop houses and trellis systems that stand in humid, fertilizer-laden air without corrosion. Glazing bars and gutters for commercial greenhouses are custom sections made from a drawing.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask

What diameters are common for garden stakes?
Plant stakes are usually 6 to 12 mm, tree stakes 16 to 25 mm, vineyard rods 8 to 12 mm, flag and marker rods 4 to 8 mm. The rods product page lists catalogue forms; confirm the required sizes on the RFQ.
Do fiberglass stakes splinter?
Cut ends can expose glass fibers. Factory-finished ends, caps and a surface veil reduce this; state the end finish and whether caps are required.
What is the minimum order?
Stakes are quoted by quantity per size and packed by bundle and pallet. Minimum quantities and lead time are established in the quotation.
Can marker stakes be printed?
Yes. Send the text, color and the position on the stake; printing is quoted with the product.
