Fiberglass round tube
A fiberglass round tube is a hollow circular glass fiber reinforced polymer section. Also called a glass fibre or GRP tube, it needs an outside diameter and a defined wall or bore to identify its cross-section. For handles, sleeves and assembly components, specify the interface that controls fit before choosing the nominal diameter.

An external clamp controls outside fit; a plug or sleeve controls the bore. Identify both mating parts and tell the manufacturer which interface has priority if the proposed wall changes.

An insert that enters the cut end may still bind farther along the tube. State the engagement length and agree a representative fit check over that distance.
Separate tube duty from pipe duty
This listing establishes no pressure rating. Fluid pressure, leak tightness and joint qualification need a separate documented proposal; a circular appearance alone cannot establish suitability.

For an ideal concentric circular section, bore diameter equals outside diameter minus twice the wall. Use that relationship to check a drawing for consistency, not to replace bore inspection: actual wall variation and roundness affect assembly fit. - Can I order by outside diameter alone?
- Include wall or bore as well. The same outside diameter can describe different hollow sections and different insert clearances.
- Can this replace a same-size metal tube?
- Matching geometry does not establish matching strength, stiffness or connection behavior. Obtain product-specific evidence and have the application reviewed before substitution.
