FRP structural profiles
FRP structural profiles are shaped composite members used as components in engineered assemblies. The manufacturer lists I-beams, channels, angles and T-profiles. Section geometry is only part of selection: specify the required material properties, loading direction, environmental exposure and connection design before accepting a section for the project.

Supply workflow
From product specification to delivery
Use these stages to define responsibilities, interfaces and the evidence needed at handover.
- 01
Review the member schedule
Confirm drawings, lengths, quantities and critical interfaces.
- 02
Review qualification evidence
Agree the material data and any project testing needed.
- 03
Approve fabrication scope
Record holes, cuts, finish and inspection requirements.
- 04
Check the shipment
Compare identification and inspection documents with the order.
Scope of supply

Prepare your enquiry
Send a brief that can be quoted
Include the drawings and requirements below so engineering can confirm the configuration, exclusions and lead time.
Include in your RFQ
- Section drawings and member schedule
- Lengths and quantities by member mark
- Design requirements and required test methods
- Hole, cut and connection drawings
- Exposure, finish and color requirements
- Destination and delivery sequence
Agree the acceptance evidence
- Measure flange, web and overall section dimensions.
- Check length, hole locations and specified straightness.
- Verify identification against the member schedule.
- Review agreed material and test documentation.

FAQ
Questions buyers ask
- Can a steel section be replaced by matching dimensions?
- Matching dimensions alone do not establish equivalent behavior. Have the project designer assess stiffness, strength and connections using the proposed FRP data.
- Are structural grades certified?
- No certification is assumed here. Specify the required grade, test basis and documentary evidence in the RFQ.
