Finished FRP product
Fiberglass angle
A fiberglass angle is an open L-shaped composite profile with two legs meeting at a corner. Also called an FRP or GRP angle, it needs separate leg dimensions and thickness requirements to identify the part. For a finished angle order, show the inside corner, mounting faces and holes as well as the overall cut length.

What to resolve before selecting this product
Which leg controls the fit?
Name leg A and leg B on the drawing even when they are equal. Identify the datum face, included angle and inside root clearance so a mating plate can sit as intended.
Where are the holes measured from?
Locate each hole from a named end and face. Include diameter, spacing and edge distances for designer review; a hole center measured from the outside corner differs from one measured from the inside face.
How is the corner connected?
Show brackets, washers and adjoining parts. Specify any adhesive or fastening requirement for review, and keep connection qualification separate from acceptance of the unassembled angle.
Evidence and purchasing requirements
Resolve corner geometry before selecting a nominal size
| Purchase question | Drawing or evidence required |
|---|---|
| Will both legs seat correctly? | Leg A and B, included angle, thickness measurement points and mating-face datums. |
| Will the root obstruct assembly? | Inside radius and clearance for the adjoining plate or bracket. |
| Can the drilled joint be accepted? | Approved hole layout, connection detail and agreed assembly check. |
The manufacturer identifies an L-shaped product, but labels its dimensional table as examples from different sources. Those sizes and resin names cannot confirm available Zhongsheng tooling. Request a section drawing with the proposed material before comparing quotations. Strongwell explains directional reinforcement in pultruded sections; its proprietary product properties do not qualify this angle or its drilled connections.

Supply workflow
From product specification to delivery
Use these stages to define responsibilities, interfaces and the evidence needed at handover.
- 01
Submit the corner detail
Send the section and hole drawing, mating parts, quantities and installed environment.
- 02
Agree the quotation
Confirm material, machining, delivery, payment and responsibility for conformity before releasing production.
- 03
Approve acceptance
Agree measurement points and a representative mating-part trial, then match shipment records to the approved revision.
Scope of supply

Prepare your enquiry
Send an enquiry that can be quoted
Include the drawings and requirements below so engineering can confirm the configuration, exclusions and lead time.
Include in your RFQ
- Leg A/B, thickness and corner geometry
- Hole datums, cut lengths and quantities
- Exposure, loading and connection design requirements
- Finish, delivery destination and required documentation
Agree the acceptance evidence
- Measure both legs, thickness and included angle against agreed tolerances.
- Check hole positions and corner clearance with the nominated mating part.
- Inspect cut ends and surfaces; reconcile batch labels and quantities.

FAQ
Questions buyers ask
- Does matching a metal angle size establish an equivalent replacement?
- No. Ask the project designer to review material properties, stiffness and the connection for the intended service.
- Can unequal legs or drilled angles be quoted?
- Submit the drawing. Feasibility, tooling and machining scope require written confirmation from the factory.
