Pultrusion die

Grating T-bar pultrusion dies

A grating T-bar pultrusion die forms an individual continuous T-section for a pultruded grating system. Henan Zhongsheng publishes a customizable T-bar die listing without a fixed section size. The RFQ should define the T-profile and its assembly interfaces; this tooling does not establish the scope of grating assembly equipment.

Configuration brief

Start with the section you need to form.

  1. Check the grating route

Confirm that the project calls for continuous pultruded T-bars. A molded grating production process needs different tooling and equipment and is outside this product scope.

  2. Define the assembly interfaces

Show how the T-bar meets cross members and supports. Identify holes or slots requiring later operations and ask whether any such equipment is included.

  3. Keep load testing explicit

Provide the intended assembly test requirements and responsible party. A die dimensional report does not certify the load capacity of a finished grating panel.

Review the configuration with engineering before the quotation is finalized.

Tooling workflow

Agree each step from drawing to trial

Use these stages to define responsibilities, interfaces and the evidence needed at handover.

  1. 01

    Review the T-section

Agree flange width, stem depth, thickness and root radii on a controlled drawing.

  2. 02

    Review the line interface

Confirm reinforcement guides, heating, gripping and die mounting for the proposed section.

  3. 03

    Set trial and fit checks

Specify sample conditioning, longitudinal checks and any mating cross members for an assembly trial.

  4. 04

    Review the acceptance record

Compare the agreed dimensional and fit results with the drawing and record any corrections before release.

Scope of supply

Define the supply package and its options

Request an itemized quotation against these lists. A catalogue description does not confirm that every item is included.

Core equipment and work to specify

  • Die body and cavity finish: configuration to confirm against the approved drawing
  • DFM and approval documents: deliverables and revision allowance to confirm
  • Preforming guides and mounting interfaces: itemize quantities in the quotation
  • Trial pull, samples and dimensional report: agree materials, duration and charges

Options and services to price separately

  • Heating plates, thermocouples and controls: request a separate scope line
  • Mandrels and supports for hollow sections: confirm whether included or additional
  • Resin injection box and connection to existing equipment: price if required
  • Refurbishment, replacement inserts and sample freight: request separate pricing

Cross-sections

Profiles covered by this die family

  • Custom T-bar cross-section; dimensions to be agreed from drawing
  • Flange, stem and root-radius details to be specified for the grating design

Prepare your enquiry

Send a brief that can be quoted

Include the drawings and requirements below so engineering can confirm the configuration, exclusions and lead time.

Include in your RFQ

  • T-section drawing with flange, stem and root-radius dimensions
  • Cross-member interfaces and downstream hole or slot drawings
  • Resin formulation and reinforcement plan
  • Existing line mounting, heater and puller information
  • Dimensional tolerances, gauge length and assembly sample requirements
  • Separate requirements for panel testing, secondary equipment and spares

Agree the acceptance evidence

  • Measure flange width, stem depth, thickness and root geometry.
  • Check twist and straightness over the agreed sample length.
  • Verify fit with nominated cross members when an assembly trial is contracted.
  • Check die marking, mounting interfaces and the agreed component list.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask

What standard T-bar sizes are offered?
The reviewed listing does not establish a fixed size range. Submit a section drawing and request written confirmation of feasibility and lead time.
Is this a molded grating machine?
No. This page covers a die for continuous pultruded T-bars. Molded grating equipment is a separate manufacturing route.
Are drilling and grating assembly included?
They must be separately identified in the quotation if required. Do not infer secondary machinery from the T-bar die listing.
Does the die quote guarantee the panel load rating?
No panel rating is established here. Agree materials, assembly design and finished-panel tests with the responsible engineering parties.
